Kensington Wine Rooms

The first venue on our list is Kensington Wine Rooms. The KWR has a very modern interior that adds to the class of this establishment. They are also very modern in the way they store the wine – using dispensers that help keep wine fresh for longer.

The KWR offers a fabulous opportunity to try some exciting and different wines, with over 50 wines available by the glass that are always rotating.

Vinoteca

Next up on our list is the fabulous little wine bar and shop Vinoteca. There are 25 wines available by the glass that are shipped in from across the world and change weekly. They also offer extremely affordable food in this quaint little establishment, with each dish coming with a bespoke wine suggestion.

Be warned though, Vinoteca operate a no-bookings policy in the evenings so if you don’t want to be stuck queuing make sure you arrive early.

Bar Pepito

Bar Pepito is a rustic, Andalucian-themed bar that is dedicated to sherry. This bar is so small that there is only room for 5 tables and the toilet is actually located across the road!

The 10 Cases

One of the newest establishments on our list, The 10 Cases is London’s latest wine bar concept. Following the name there are only ever 10 reds, 10 whites and just 10 cases of each. Once a wine runs out a new wine is chosen as its replacement, helping keep the choices fresh and exciting.

All the wine is available by the glass and older world wines dominate the list.

Wonder Bar

Wonder Bar is located on a mezzanine above Selfridges’ wine department. What is fantastic about this wine bar is the way the machines allow customers to help themselves to small 25ml servings from up to 52 different wines.

This gives you the opportunity to sample those expensive wines for a fraction of the normal price. It also allows you to have a quick sample before splashing out a whole bottle! The décor is modern, stylish and very red which makes for a smarter environment than some of the other venues on this list.
